Wetland and Aquatic Plants

Native aquatic and wetland plants will keep your wetland area healthy. They can be divided into three categories:

Submerged-grow primarily below water surface. 

Emersed-rooted in water-saturated soils or submersed soils near the water’s edge.

Floating and floating-leaved plants-rooted in the bottom sediments with leaves floating on the water surface.
