  • Perennial vine with greenish-yellow flowers and black berries. 
  • Used in wildflower gardens as ground cover or as cover for fences, arbors or small buildings. 
  • Once established can be difficult to eradicate. Can cause skin irritation. 
  • Twining vine up to 30 ft.
  • Suitable to grow from 8A-11.
  • Deciduous. Blooms in summer with fruit in October.
  • Best grown in full sun to part shade.
  • Moderate moisture to dry periods.
  • Larval food for Sphinx and Wilsons Wood-Nymph moths.  Berries eaten by birds.
  • Cissus trifoliata
